William Bricker PLLC is a boutique law firm providing the highest level of service to a diverse clientele of high net worth individuals, business enterprises and charities. The firm is headed by William L. Bricker Jr., Managing Partner, who has practiced, lectured and taught tax law and previously was a partner in a major international New York City law firm for more than thirty years.  He specializes in the U.S., international and state taxation of both individuals and businesses, including planning and negotiating cross-border investments and acquisitions, advising clients in structuring their income and estate tax plans, and representing clients in controversies with the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities.


Mr. Bricker is joined by outstanding, experienced tax lawyers, including a tenured tax law school professor who is counsel to the firm and with whom he has practiced for almost twenty years. Together, the two continue a tax controversy practice that has been one of their unique specialties.

William L. Bricker, Jr., Managing Partner, specializes in the fields of federal, state and international taxation, and international investments and acquisitions. Mr. Bricker has extensive experience in both domestic and international tax matters.  For more than thirty years, he was a tax partner in a major New York-based international law firm.  Mr. Bricker has been a frequent speaker at international tax programs throughout the United States and Europe. He has authored numerous tax articles and has served as a director or executive committee member of numerous professional organizations.

William Bricker Linda Galler

Linda Galler

Of Counsel

Linda Galler is a Distinguished Professor of Law at a New York area law school, teaching courses in individual income taxation, corporate taxation, international taxation, tax policy and ethics in federal tax practice. She founded and directs a low income taxpayer clinic in which law students represent low income taxpayers in disputes with the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authority.  Ms. Galler has over thirty years of experience practicing law and counseling law firms in New York City in the areas of international taxation, corporate taxation, administrative practice, and court procedure. She is a frequent speaker on tax ethics and is the lead author of Regulation of Tax Practice, published by Carolina Academic Press.  Ms. Galler has chaired the Standards of the Tax Practice Committee and the Teaching Taxation Committee of the ABA Section of Taxation.

Inhyuk Yoo


Inhyuk Yoo is an associate attorney at William Bricker PLLC.  Inhyuk's practice focuses on federal, state, and international taxation.  He has worked on a variety of tax planning, controversy, and litigation matters for individuals and entities, including issues relating to corporate restructuring, cross-border transactions, expatriation tax, residency, foreign gift, international penalties, FBAR, etc.  


Prior to joining the firm, Inhyuk worked at tax law firms in the U.S. and a major law firm in Korea, representing both domestic and foreign clients.  He publishes articles on various interesting tax topics. 

He is a member of ABA and NYSBA and is admitted to the U.S. Tax Court.  Inhyuk is fluent in Korean.

Maria F. Pigna


Maria focuses on domestic and international trust and estate planning for closely-held businesses and high-net worth individuals and their families.  She also advises businesses on corporate and cross-border tax issues such as international tax restructuring and investment planning.  Maria has worked on a variety of complex trust planning matters, pre and post immigration tax planning, and issues relating to corporate restructuring and foreign gift planning. 

Prior to joining the firm, Maria worked in law firms with a large focus in Latin America.  Maria is fluent in Spanish.
